Photo's below are from Borrego Springs on July 26th 2014, The Milky Way was taken with a Canon 24mm f/1.4 : 13.0 sec | f/1.4 | ISO 2500
I used a LED light to light one of the images for a few seconds during the exposure. I will be going back in October when the Milky Way is more vertical and hopefully with less clouds.. as you can see in the daylight pictures there were a few clouds in the sky.. The image (with Luna) above is one of the composites that I do. The image just to the left of her was used for the background.
