Wild Wolves

I was able to get close to this pack of rescued wild wolves a couple of times.
The wolf to the left is the Alpha male of this pack..  He never came with-in reaching distance.  He stayed just a few inches from my touch..  The others didn't have that buffer zone.  As you can see, I got plenty of contact with them.. even got my face licked, pulled and knocked around sometimes..  I never felt in danger, it was more that they wanted my attention.
When the dark brown wolf was brought in, he was not part of this pack.. then it did get a little tense a few times..  not with me , just between them.

I loved those times I got to spend with them..
