Off to Alaska,
Late leaving San Diego, so only 30 mins after arrival in Seattle to get to my gate (using the under ground tram) for the flight to Anchorage
So I wasn't unable to go in to the Alaska Airlines First Class Lounge to get a snack and a drink before getting to my next flight.
First Class Meal from Seattle to Anchorage Alaska
Chicken, Potato's and Asparagus. Little Cinnamon Berry treat too.

The Comfort Inn, Anchorage Alaska
My Room. Not bad. It was clean and the wall heater was ok,, didn't seem to get warm enough. I set it to 77° and it didn't seem that warm. Used the extra blanket that was in the storage cabinet.

Had a Uber delivery of a Little Caesars Pizza, Connected my laptop to the TV with a HDMI cable to watch a Movie, The desk had USB and AC charging
The pizza you see has two missing slices, I gave them to the two people working at the hotel check in. I wasn't going to really eat the whole pizza. They were so nice on changing my room because it had one of those connecting rooms. Those doors never keep out the noise from the next room with a 1/2 gap at the bottom of the door, I just don't like those type of rooms.
So there was no King Size bed rooms like I had so I told them a Queen would be fine, They only have twin Queen rooms. It was fine,

Heading to Homer Alaska tomorrow after the free breakfast they offer here from 6am to 8am. Enterprise Rental Car will be picking me up at 8am.

Morning time, had a little breakfast, came free with the room. Then a couple of views of the lobby with my bags, waiting for Enterprise Rental Car to pick me up
My rental car getting it's first fill up of gas. $3.89 a gallon.

Had some snow fall on the drive, and it was very cold outside, Nice Jeep rental, It had heated steering wheel and heated seats.
The 7th picture you can see the Homer spit out there in the distance. My hotel is at the end of that small pointed piece of land.

Trip took 4 Hours 28 minutes 220 Miles. 30.3 Miles a gallon. Good time with all that snow I had to get through.

A trip to Safeway for some snacks, Yes I'll get meals with my trip. But I'm here 1 1/2 days before the trips starts. Last image is what I bought in my Frig.

First is all my photography gear. The pic of my camera and tripod ready to go in the back of my Jeep when I see an eagle. At the Gas Station filling up my Jeep. It only used a little over half a tank from Anchorage to Homer Alaska. Then you'll see Homer's Airport, not to big.

Me out shooting that morning, Then pic of Lunch and then you'll see me backing up my images while having lunch, I averaged 5,000 images a day shooting all the Bald Eagles.

Inside our other boat, we had two that took our group over, the last image you can see the other while we were crossing.

You can see from the images below that the tide was out. there is a big difference in the height for low to high. The snow on the top of the rocks show how high the tide get's up there.

When getting into our van to get back to the hotel we saw a moose laying down near our parking spot. A view of our boat and the front that lays down for easy exit to the beach.

Last days breakfast, they could never get the eggs right, always over cooked, Editing my photos the last day, with a great very cold high wind day outside and view of my TV in the room

At the Anchorage Airport for my return trip home, My bags on one of the carts they have there. Then a view of the First Class Lounge Salad Bar. Then a view of my seat next to the fireplace.
You can see outside how cold it looks. I had some hours before my redeye flight was going to leave, So I was able to pass the time with a warm fireplace and a few free drinks and some food.

My seat while waiting, Check out the outside, Just a little cold. They only had Salads and Hot Soup at the Anchorage lounge. I was there over 5 hours, so plenty of time to go through my photos and have a couple of meals. and Yes a few Jack n Cokes.

I made it to Seattle's airport and the Alaskan First Class Lounge. It was 5:30 am so no Lunch or Dinner food, just Breakfast. The self serve pancake maker was cool.

First Class meal down from Anchorage to San Diego, I went lite, Fruit and a Bloody Mary. then I wanted to take a test a couple of days after I got back with all the traveling I did, All good.
